NL In de tentoonstelling Expeditie Knappe Koppen staat centraal hoe vier wetenschappers de VOC gebruikten voor het vergroten van hun kennis. André Kuipers reflecteert hierop als hedendaagse ontdekkingsreiziger.
De plattegrond is erop gericht dat de bezoeker zelf op ontdekking zal gaan. Vanuit de entree leidt een trechter de bezoeker naar een centrale vitrine. Hier komt de scheepvaart aan bod. De omringende ruimtes zijn slechts ten dele zichtbaar. Vitrines in de wanden geven doorkijkjes.

EN The exhibition Bright Minds Expedition revolves around four scientists who took advantage of the VOC to increase their knowledge. Dutch astronaut André Kuipers reflects on their stories as a contemporary explorer.
The floorpan of the exhibition is intended for the visitor to discover. From the entrance a funnel leads to a central showcase. From here the surrounding spaces remain mostly hidden. Only small parts are visible, inter alia, through showcases with ship models in the walls separating them from the main space.
